In case you're new to Kunekune pigs, here's a quick rundown of why we think they are the best breed of pig for your farm or homestead.

• Kunekunes are a heritage breed of pig from New Zealand that was nearly gone by the 1990s.

• They are smaller than many modern market swine breeds, but they are no minipigs. The benefits of their size include that they are easier to transport and can be processed by a single person.

• Kunekunes are famous for their well-marbled meat and ability to grow almost exclusively on pasture with very little feed required.

• Their small upturned snouts keep them from destroying your pasture and their docile nature makes them manageable to keep in fences.

Here at Waddle Patch Farm, we are a small family farm specializing in Kunekune pigs.

We have Kunekune pigs for sale in Florida, with shipping available and new litters coming a few times a year. We keep our herd small so that they can be well socialized and have the best quality of life possible but also so we can focus on choosing only the best breeding animals to produce quality meat and breeding stock.
